Burl Allen "Buck"  Holbrook
Burl A. “Buck” Holbrook, born July 1, 1942 to the late Burl and Mary (Toots) Holbrook, passed away after a brave battle on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. Also preceding him in death was nephew Michael McLean.

He was a member of Mt. Lewis Baptist Church, Mammoth, and attended faithfully. Anyone who knew him knew that he lived for his family. He breathed for them as they breathed for him.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Cathy; children: Jenny, Michelle, Donna, Debbie, Julius, Shalayna, Shane (Jessica), Dustin (Brittany), Kris (Whitney), Mary Catherine, and Callie; grandchildren: Dominick, Dylan, Chloe, Landon, Brylee, Bentlee, and Bella; sisters Aileen (Jim), and Vicki (Gary); special nieces and nephews: Amy (Clint), Mary (Cristin), Ian, Stephanie, Madison (Jordan), Connor, Courtney, Brandon, and Whitney.

Special Messages: I love you-from Callie; I love you Papaw Bucket-from Chloe and Brylee; and I love you filthy animal-from Bella. Special thanks to Dr. Wyatt who was his doctor, but most of all his friend.

Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with
brother-in-law Pastor Gary Frampton officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests casual attire or clothing representing your favorite sports team in honor of his memory.
