Obituary for Carole Ruth Silvius
Carole Ruth Silvius age 86 of Montgomery died October 13, 2018. She was born January 13, 1932 in Fayette County and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Barker Huddleston. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wendell C. “Bud” Silvius; granddaughter Morgan Rose and sisters Alice, Julia, Sallie and Ruth Huddleston.
She was a former Kanawha County school teacher, a former employee of Smithers Police Department and a member of the Montgomery United Methodist Church.
Surviving: daughter Gretchen Elizabeth Silvius-Rose and her husband Tim of Charleston; granddaughter Baylee Rose of Charleston.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in Montgomery Memorial Park at London with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the memorial garden. O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Associating, 1248 Greenbrier St., Charleston, WV 25311, or www.adoptcharleston.com
