Christina Bell Garris, 77, of Smithers passed away at Hubbard Hospice House Wednesday July 27, 2011.
She was born in Longacre, January 3, 1934. She was a retired LPN at Montgomery General Hospital and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Montgomery.
She is survived by her children; James Garris and his wife Diana of Summersville, Otis Garris and his wife Karen of Falls View, Gary and his spouse Brian of Oroville, CA and Patricia Barnhart and her husband Carl of Charleston; sisters, Gay Echols of Summersville, Midge Whitt of Montgomery and Gloria Dotson of Murrells Inlet, SC; brother, Johnny Hackworth of Cabin Creek; grandchildren, Jimmy, Kelly, Michael and Kayla; great grandchildren, Steven, Brett, Jared, Jenna and Jaden.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday July 30, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ, Morris Drive, Montgomery with the Rev. Frank Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call 6-8 PM Friday at the church. O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hubbard Hospice House.
