Obituary for Cindy Ann Ridenour

Cindy Ann Ridenour, 51, of Beaver, entered into eternal life on Friday, August 21, 2020 after suffering a short illness. Cindy was born December 9, 1968 in Montgomery, WV. Welcoming Cindy into her heavenly home are her former husband of 22 years, Philip Todd Ridenour, Mother Linda Ann Hill, Grandma Maxine Tabit, Grandma Dorothy Young, and Brother In-Law Gary Alan Massey.

Surviving Cindy are her daughters that she lived and breathed for, Jessica Ann Ridenour (Breezy Worley) and Madison Rae Ridenour, a granddaughter that stole her heart the moment she was born, Karsyn Ann Bird, her partner of 12 years Richard Moss, her father Lewis Siders “Curley”(Jackie Siders), 3 sisters Jackie Siders-Williamson, Sherry Siders-Wolford, and Jordan Siders, 1 brother Lewis Siders Jr. “Luke” (Jessica Siders), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Also surviving Cindy was her second family that treated her as their own for 24+ years the Massey, Ridenour, and Boggs clan.

Cindy was a 1987 graduate of Valley High School where on her senior year was runner up for “Miss Greyhound”. She absolutely had a fascination with sharks. Before her accident she couldn’t stop talking about how excited she was for 3 weeks of shark week coming up. She also loved to cook/bake with her youngest Madison. One of her favorite things to do would be going to her home town and getting an “Al Burger” or a Calzone from “Franks” with her sisters. And she loved playing and talking with her cats Oscar and Pooter.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will begin at 8 p.m on Friday, August 28, 2020 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Greg Boggs officiating. Cremation will follow afterwards. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m on Friday before the service.
