David Sheldon Skaggs, age 96, of Fayetteville, died July 19, 2022. He was born February 13, 1926, in Winona, WV and was the son of the late Rexford and Laura Steele Skaggs. He was preceded in death by
his wife Sarah Lee Skaggs.

He was a retired manufacturing engineer and teacher. He graduated from Ansted High School in 1944 and was a graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology.

He is survived by his daughter, Martha Thomas (Edwin), two grandchildren, David Thomas and Matthew Thomas (Heather) and three great grandchildren, Jocelyn Arthur, Gabriel Thomas and Jackson Thomas.

The service will be Friday, July 22, 2022, at 1:00 PM at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.
