Obituary for Delmar Campbell
Delmar Joe Campbell, of Hansford, WV, passed away at home on April 3, 2022, in the presence of his loving wife of 62 years, Juanita Louise Campbell and his daughter, Debra Lynn Vaughan.
He is also survived by his daughter Cheryl Ann Slack and son-in-law David A. Slack as well as many loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emory Campbell, his mother, Thelma Campbell, his brothers, Emory (Mim) Campbell, Jack Campbell, Keith Campbell, and sister Helen Ball.
If you knew Joe Campbell, you know he loved his family, his friends in Braxton County (hunting and sitting on his porch), his UMWA family and sitting in his building watching ballgames. Also, a special thanks to Stella and Jimmy Slack for their care and support.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at O’Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, WV with Deacon Bill Lively officiating. Interment will follow service at Montgomery Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service at O’Dell Funeral Home.
