Obituary for Gail W. "Bub" Williams

Gail W. “Bub” Williams Jr, age 57 of Smithers, beloved Father, Grandfather and Brother passed away suddenly on July 29, 2014. He was born November 25, 1956 in Montgomery to Gail Williams Sr and Janice Williams who preceded him in death.

He was retired from Long Branch Energy and a member of the UMWA. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Gail will be missed dearly and was loved by so many.

Surviving are his companion, Robin Mitchell of Powellton; daughters, Crystal White and husband Joey of Falls View, Brittany Clough-Williams and companion Josh Cooper of Smithers, step-son, Colton Williams of Powellton; sisters Debra Craddock and companion Todd Jenkins of Hardy County and Angela Perry and husband Chris of Smithers; one grandson , which was his pride and joy, Maddox White of Falls View; he is also survived by his nieces, Jennifer Craddock and Melissa Morton; nephews, Gregory Craddock and Joey Morton, great-nephews, De’Anthony Wright, Cedric Coping, Xavier Coping and Liam Morton, and also long time best friend, Bill McCutcheon.

Service will be noon Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Chris Sowards officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
