Obituary for George E. Myers
George E. Myers age 72 of Cannelton died February 5, 2015 after a short illness. He was born April 11, 1942 at Marting and was the son of the Fuller H. and Goldie Mae West.
He was a Christian and he was a retired miner from Cannelton Coal Company.
Surviving: wife Elizabeth "Libby" Z. Roat Myers who were married in 1965; children Freddie Edward Myers of Montgomery, Michael Wayne Myers and his wife Barbara of Cannelton, Mary Nadine Justice Taylor and her husband Jerry of Cannelton and Edna Marie Kincaid and her husband Darrell of Gauley Bridge; grandchildren Cody Kincaid, Shaun Myers, Bradley Justice, Shane Myers, Alyssa Kincaid, Montana Myers, Mary Elizabeth Kincaid and Luke Myers; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who loved him dearly.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor David Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.
