Condolence: My condolences to the Newman and Smith families. May God grant you peace with this loss. Growing up in Kimberly together Leon and my brother Charlie and I were like brothers and sister. We played together everyday from first grade through high school. We walked to Kimberly Elementary School together every day along with his brothers and aunts and friends. What fun we had! Condolence: We first got to know Leon when he became a Board of Education member. It was so refreshing to know a person who really had the needs of the students as his first priorities. His support of vocational education made our jobs at the Fayette Plateau Vocational Technical much easier. We sincerely wish the family the best during this difficult time.
