Condolence From: Ken Tucker
Condolence: I learned so much from Mr. Brown. Doesn't seem appropriate to refer to him any other way, he always had my respect. He molded so much of the man I have become, I learned many things in the short time we were acquainted. Over the many years I have thought of hm often. Rest easy Mr. brown we will take it from here. Thank you for everything, God speed.

Condolence From: Tracy Scarberry (Workman)
Condolence: Every time I heard this song, I would think of you.

A quiet man of music denied a simpler fate
He tried to be a soldier once, but his music wouldn't wait
He earned his love through discipline, a thundering velvet hand
His gentle means of sculpting souls took me years to understand

The leader of the band is tired and his eyes are growing old
But his blood runs through my instrument and his song is in my soul
My life has been a poor attempt to imitate the man
I'm just a living legacy to the leader of the band

All of us at Marmet Jr. High are living legacies to our Leader of the Band. Your taught us so much and we will be forever grateful. You were tough on us when we needed it, but always supportive and encouraging. RIP
