She always had the students' best interest at heart. Upward Bound was Upward Bound because of Rita and her sister, Beverly. I was shocked and saddened by the news when my wife shared it with me. Rita will always have a special place in my heart and in my memories. Such a special, special lady.

Condolence From: First Missionary Baptist Powellton
Condolence: We, the Pastor and members of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Powellton wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Bohanna & Wattie family on the passing of your loved one Sis. Rita Bohanna. We pray that the love of God enfolds you during your difficult times and it helps you to heal your pain with the passage of time. Take comfort in knowing that death does not have the final say as the Bible states: O death where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? At times like these, you must lean on your faith and try to accept that God has a bigger purpose. May the memories of your loved one and the love of family and friends surround you and give you strength in the days ahead.
You Are In Our Prayers,
Rev. William I. Kinney - Pastor
