Obituary for Sandra Kay "Sandy" Tinnel
Sandy Tinnel, 79, of Charlton Heights, Wv, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 30, 2022. She was born on January 6, 1943, to Gene and Sybil (Murphy) Tinnel.
Sandy enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, reading, and playing games on her computer. She worked at Montgomery General Hospital for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jim Tinnel, her sister Betty Matheny, her sister-in-law Lucy (Hatler) Tinnel.
She is survived by one nephew, Jeff Tinnel, three nieces, Tanya Zachary (Marvin), Melinda Smith (Chip), Lisa Stone, her caregivers Paula Yuhas, and Arnold Wright, and several great, and great-great nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Wright, Josh Stone, Buster Grooms, Charlie Hannigan, Grant Ramsey, and David Withrow.
Service will be at 1PM on Wednesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Jeff Floyd, and Rev. Mark Strickland officiating. Entombment will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park in London. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
