Obituary for Thomas Lee Cosgrove
Thomas Lee Cosgrove, 86, of Smithers died March 5, 2022. He was born in Smithers on September 27, 1935, to the late John Thomas, and Thelma Gladys Miller Cosgrove.
He was US Air Force Veteran and attended the Oakland Church of God in Smithers. He retired from Royal Coffee Company of Birmingham and Dallas. Upon retiring, he retired to Smithers in 2000. He was graduate of Montgomery High School, and attended College in Florence, ALA.
He is survived by his son Dr. Thomas Patrick Cosgrove of Birmingham, sister Alice Cosgrove of Smithers, nephew Paul Oliver Fleet of Smithers, and additional nieces and nephews in Alabama, and special friend, Martha Martin of Winfield.
Service will be held on Saturday at 2PM at O’Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery with Pastor Todd Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Friends may call from 6-8PM on Friday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to the family at www.odellfuneralhome.com
