God’s Jewel

Ill never forget Troy Simley. He always respected & treated me like a close friend & beloved family member. Ill always love & appreciate him for that. I knew him for over 45 yrs. He was a strong man. Sometimes you meet people that change like the wind. That wasnt Troy. He was genuine. If he didnt like you, he didnt smile in your face. We had many heart to heart,pick your brain talks, and Im glad to say, we never had one argument or ever spoke harsh words to each other. After many visits to their home, I never got a closed door, closed hand, empty plate, unwelcomed bed or a closed heart. To my knowledge Troy loved God, his family, his country, hunting, fishing, cooking, football, basketball, dancing, old school music and too much more to mention. Troy wasnt perfect, but I believe he was a jewel God placed amongst us to enjoy for this time, as we do the scent of a perfect ROSE. Ill always be grateful & remember him.
