Obituary for Wanda Lee Woodrum

Wanda Lee Woodrum
Mrs. Wanda L. Woodrum, 88, of Holly Grove, went home to be with the Lord on January 30, 2022. She was born April 17, 1933, at Mahan to the late George and Stella Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Rev. Ervin Woodrum, daughter Jacqueline and son E. Russell Woodrum.

She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Evening Light Christian Church of Holly Grove for 47 years. She was a Sunday school teacher for many of the teenagers in the community. She fulfilled the roles of the church Secretary and Song leader. She loved and was loved by everyone she met. Anyone that entered her home was made to feel like family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend.

We know that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her deepest desire was that everyone accept the Lord and be with her in Glory.

She is survived by her daughters Yvonne Bosley and Tammy Hackworth. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, along with many nieces.

Service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 1:30PM at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Matthew Hackworth officiating. Entombment will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
