William L. "Tootie" Wood, Jr. age 84 of Pratt died February 13, 2015. He was born September 2, 1930 in Hinton and was the son of the late William Loren and Etta Meadows Wood Sr. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Wood.

Tootie was a retired engineer with CSX Railroad, was a Mason and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his children; James Wood and his wife Glenna of Beckley, John David Wood and his wife Jeanette of Gallagher and Richard Wood and his wife Barbara of Lexington, OH; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be Thursday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Restwood Memorial Gardens, Hinton.
