Harold “Dee” Lipscomb age 56 of Kanawha Falls died June 23, 2011. He was born May 9, 1955 and was the son of Mary Lipscomb of Kimberly and the late Troy Lipscomb. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Wanda Swyers and Beth Abbott and a brother-in-law Rick Abbott.
He was an avid lover of WVU sports and a former leader in the church youth groups. He was retired from Saul Motor in Smithfield, NC.
Surviving in addition to his mother: sons Donne and Dustin Lipscomb of Greenville, SC; sister Bonna Bowen of Knightdale, NC; grandchildren Dylan Abbott, Jayden Lipscomb and Tobias McCallister and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2:00PM Tuesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Micky Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6 until 9 on Monday at the funeral home.
