Bobby Gene Rush age 74 of Pratt died May 24, 2011. He was born August 10, 1936 in Gallagher, Kanawha County. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Rush and a son Randy Rush.
He was retired from the United States and Army and also was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the United States Bowling Congress, a member of the Elks Lodge 202 of Charleston and Aier 1040 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Montgomery.
Surviving: daughters Cathy Gill of Pratt and Lori Byus of Charleston; brother Grey Rush of Campbells Creek ; granddaughter Amy Gill of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Entombment will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6 until 8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
