Barbara J  Davis
Barbara J. Davis, 76 of Powellton entered eternal transitioning on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at CAMC General Hospital with her loving husband of 57-years, MacArthur (Copper) Davis by her side.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents, Ray, and Irene Parson’s. In addition to her parents, a beautiful daughter that she and Copper were blessed to share through their union, Shanda Davis Gray. Four sisters; Carol Sheilds, Katie Young, Judy Nicholas, and Sharon Syner and one brother, Gary Parsons.

She was a faithful member of Open Bible Temple. Her loving and sweet spirit will be immensely missed by her earthly family, church family and friends. To know her was to love her!

She is survived by her husband, MacArthur (Copper) Davis, Powellton; Son-In-Law Michael Gray, Richwood; Grandsons: Shawn Gray, Seth Gray & Johnnie Clevenger, Richwood, WV; Hunter Gray, Knoxville, TN; Jamie (Erica) Clevenger, Columbus, OH and one great grandson, Oakley Clevenger, Richwood; Sister, Sybil Taylor, Robson. At her request, there will be no services.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Pastor Greg Toney, to the family that have called/texted/visited/prayed and/or expressed condolences. In addition, we give special appreciation to CAMC for their care during this challenging time.
