Obituary for Barbara Jean Fleet
Barbara Jean Fleet, 84, of Hugheston, and Smithers died February 10, 2022. She was born in Smithers on March 7, 1937, to the late John Thomas and Thelma Miller Cosgrove. She was also predeceased by a sister, Ann Pickens.
She was a graduate of Montgomery High School and attended WVIT. She was retired from Chase Bank in Charleston and attended the Oakland Church of God in Smithers.
She is survived by her son, Paul Oliver Fleet, granddaughter Samantha, great-grandson Charlie, brother Thomas Cosgrove, and sister Alice Cosgrove.
Service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Todd Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to the family at www.odellfuneralhome.com
