Betty Jean Dickinson age 85 of Kimberly died February 16, 2012 in Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. She was born November 12, 1926 in Harrisonburg, VA and was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Young Coffman. She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald Dickinson and daughter Pam Pritt.
She was an active member of the Kimberly Church of God and she was very active in the community. She was retired from Rite Aide in Montgomery and she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving: children D. L. Dickinson and his wife Sharon of Kimberly and Robin Suitts and her husband Gary of Elwood, NE; grandchildren Kimberly Scheneberg and her husband Fred, Kelly Kinder and her husband Don, Paul David Burke and his wife April and Jean Ann Wilson; great-grandchildren Kaleb Kinder, Hanna Kinder, Kelsie Wentz, Brookesanna Burke, Andrew Scheneberg, Hunter Burke, Lauryn Kinder, Matthew Scheneberg Katie Wilson, Kassidy Wilson and Klair Kinder.
Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Bill Smith and Rev. Donald Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
