Betty Lou Whitt a native of Longacre WV went home to be with her Lord on August 15, 2009. He was born in Burnwell WV on April 24, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Margaretta Preston and her beloved son Mark Alan Whitt and a brother Ralph Preston Jr.
She is survived by husband Cecil Whitt Sr.; sons Rusty Whitt and wife Becky, Butch Whitt and wife Judy and Donald Grant Whitt; sisters Patsy Hendricks of Boomer and Linda Wagner and her husband Roger of Boomer; brother Charles Preston and wife Joan; Grandchildren Jodi Lynn Hannigan and husband Mickey, Alyssa Whitt of Kernersville, NC, Grant Whitt and Carrie of Oak Hill, Jill Meadows of South Charleston; great grandchildren Marissa and Tyler, Malyia, Bryson and Addison and many nieces and nephews.
