Carl Estel King, 72, of Livingston went home to play guitar for the Lord on August 24, 2011. He was born March 23, 1939 in McKendree, WV.
Carl worked as a supervisor for the WV Department of Highways of Chelyan for 20 plus years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Standard.
Carl is survived by his wife of 49 years Jewell Hodge King; daughters; Angel Rodriguez and her husband Robert Ash, Erinn Rodriguez and Rose Cook; sons; Carl King and his fiancé Emily Fleming, brother; Ralph King; and also two special grandchildren that he called his very own children, Brett and Tristan; grandchildren Preston, Michayla and Allan.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ernest White and Rev. Gary Tincher officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
