Carol Ann Russell age 62 of Quarrier passed away August 11, 2010 at home. She was born November 30, 1947 in Kayford and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ella Pruitt Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years David Russell, her siblings Christine Tanner, Lela Russell, Charlotte Summers, Norman Stanley, Herbert Stanley Jr., Carl Stanley and Gary Stanley.
Surviving: daughter Deena Russell of Quarrier; son Allen Russell and his wife Jennifer of Quarrier; her beloved dog “Little Buddy”; sister Maxine Noble and her husband Jake of Beckley; brothers Charles Stanley and wife Marie of Ohley, Earl Stanley and his wife Norma of Red Warrier and Kenneth Stanley and his wife Shelby of Cleveland, Ohio; four wonderful grandchildren Nick Hunt, David Russell, Lela Hunt and Luke Russell and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 6 until 9 on Sunday August 15, 2010 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery.
A private family service will be held on Monday at Site Hill Cemetery with Rev. John Cantley officiating.
