Obituary for Cecil Kelly Duncan

Cecil Kelly Duncan, 92 of Powellton died May 20, 2013. He was born April 15, 1921 in McDowell Co., the son of the late Walter Jackson and Emma Augusta Hendricks Duncan. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mogenne E. Smith Duncan

Cecil was a US Air Force Veteran of WW II , retired from Fisher Scientific Co. in Chicago, IL, a former coal miner and was a member of the Baptist church in Chicago.

Survivors include his children Kathy Duncan of Powellton, Sheila Linville and her husband Ronnie of Powellton, James Walter Duncan and his wife Alga, Lois Spivey and her husband Dale, Glen Duncan and his wife Mindy and Jeanette Casteel and her husband Joe, all of Indianapolis, IN, brothers, Harry Duncan of Powellton, Bobby Duncan of Cleveland, OH and Charles Duncan of South Boston,VA; sisters, Daisy Williams of TN and Ruth Johns of Richmond, VA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday May 26, 2012 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Greg Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Fayetteville. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Montgomery General Hospital, CAMC Memorial Division and Kanawha Hospice Care for there loving care.
