Charles “Buck” King Jr. age 86 of Smithers died January 27, 2013. He was born May 5, 1926 and was the son of the late Charles and Violet Davis King Sr.
He was a retired Coal Miner and a member of the United Mine Workers and also retired from K-Mart in Kanawha City. He was a World War II Veteran of the US Navy.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Surviving: wife Kay Frances Totten King; Daughter Nikki Smith of Bealeton, VA; stepdaughter Christina and husband Tim Fletcher of Fayetteville; stepson Donald Anderson of Oak Hill and Anthony Anderson and wife Angie of Sissonville; sister Jeanette Rodgers of Deep Water; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Terry King officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London with Military honors.
