Charles A. Washington, 69, of Montgomery WV went to join his heavenly Father on August 4, 2009 at the Hubbard Hospice House. Charleston, WV surrounded by family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Isabelle Mitchell Washington; brothers Willie Cecil, Fred Jr. and Leonard Wesly; sisters Delores and Ethel Mae. He attended Montgomery High School in Montgomery, WV. Left to cherish him are his wife Gloria Jean; children Cassandra Green – San Antonio, TX; Charles (Lois) Washington, Jr. - Gulf Port, MS; Tyria Candelaria – Charlotte, NC; Katrina Napier – VA; Dominic (Ashley) Coping – Montgomery, WV; Theron “Boat” Coleman – Huntington, WV; brother Lawrence Washington Mount Carbon, WV and sister Bernice Washington Boomer; WV two aunts, Evalina Hollingsworth & Lucille Walton of New York; 6 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral will be Saturday, August 8, 2009, 1:00 p.m., at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Carbondale, WV with Reverend Cornell Byers delivering the eulogy.. Friends may visit two hours prior to service at the church . Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
