Obituary for Dale Ray Wagner

Dale Ray Wagner passed away and made his journey to be with the Lord on July 2, 2014 at 12:00pm, from the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. He was born May 6, 1938 in Hemphill, WV and was the son of the late Dave and Edna Zachary Wagner. He was also preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Angie in 1979; handsome son Todd in 1982; and brother Greg.

He retired from Super Value in Milton. WV. As a younger man he coached Little League and Mothers Minor Baseball teams and also basketball teams, which he loved to play. He was a faithful and long time member at Boomer Baptist Church, Boomer and a great servant. He taught Sunday school to young boys, and was a Bible School Teacher, deacon and an usher.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, and high school sweetheart, Drema Nibert Wagner; his son/grandson Todd, that he raised from a young boy and his wife Jessica Wagner; granddaughter Lenny; brothers Roger and wife Linda of Boomer, David and his wife Brenda of Fayetteville, Bunk and his wife Hazel of IN, Mike and his wife Talwee of California , Bob and is wife Katherine of Jodie, Rick and is wife Debbie of Pratt; sisters Francis and husband Mike of NC., Sue and her husband Mal of PA.; sister-in-laws Betty McCarty of FL., and Demetra Pauley of Handley, and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Boomer Baptist Church, Boomer, with Pastor Jim Neeson and Pastor Larry McCarty officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior the service at the church.
