Obituary for Dennis Ray Parsons
Dennis Ray Parsons age 63 of Powellton died August 16, 2016. He was born September 16, 1952 in Montgomery and he is the son of Billie Parsons and the late Roena Kincaid Parsons.
He was a plant operator for Black Hawk Mining and a US Army veteran. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also an avid hunter.
Surviving is his wife of 40 years Elizabeth Parsons; sons Christopher Parsons of Powellton, Todd Parsons and girl friend Crystal Wright of Powellton and Ricky Parsons and his wife Mary of Powellton; grandchildren Elliott Hall, Russell Hall, Dennis Hall and Hayley Parsons; father Billie Parsons of Boomer; brother Greg Parsons and his wife Doris of Summersville; sisters Carol Hughes of Summersville, Jeanette Williams and her husband Gary of Boomer and Debbie Seaman and her husband Jeff of Dixie.
Service will be 2:00 PM on Friday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Joe Darlington officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow.
