Donald Gene Cunningham age 71 of Powellton died April 17, 2013. He was born June 18, 1941 and was the son of the late Jess Earl Sr and Virginia Stanley Cunningham.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Elkem Metal of Alloy.

Survivors are his brother Jess Earl “Buddy” Cunningham and his wife Donna of Powellton; sisters Betty June Sizemore of Glasgow, Virginia Saunders of Seville, OH and Mary Painter and husband Sammy of Shelby NC and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 1pm Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Chuck Cunningham officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
