Doris Agnes Jackson age 79 of Smithers died March 20, 2012 at home. She was born April 27, 1932 in London, WV and she was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Dunlap Tucker, her husband B. C. Jackson and her sister Janice Williams.
She was a former employee of GC Murphy in Montgomery and a former representative for both Tupperware and Yellow Ribbons. She formerly worked at the Senior Citizens Center in Smithers and she was a member of the Campbell Memorial Baptist Church in Smithers.
Surviving: sons Barton Jackson Jr. and his wife Karen of Kimberly and Shannon Jackson and his wife Lisa of Summersville; grandchildren Stephanie Jackson, Cris Walker, Cassie Jackson, Philip Jackson and Adam Jackson; great-grandchildren Nikki McCarthy, Skyler Murphy and Haley Murphy.
Service will be Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Wallace York officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow.
