Dorthalee Nichols Perdue, 77, loving mother, grandmother and friend, of Dixie, passed away Friday, March 15,2013 at Saint Francis Hospital after a 5 month battle with Cirrhosis ( NASH ).
Born Sept.1, 1935, in Clay County, she was the daughter
of the late Arnold Nichols and Agnes Ramsey Bird Nichols. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Thomas E. Perdue; her brothers: Willie (Billie) Bird, Wesley Bird, Arley Nichols and Maynard Nichols. sisters: Pauline Bird Dawson, Bonnie Bird Wilkinson,
Emel Bird Walker, Mabel Bird, Marie Bird Spaulding, Merlene Nichols Bird,
Maxine Nichols Elliott and Freda Nichols Cogar.

She was a Christian and Homemaker.

Survivors; daughters: Kathy Gray and her husband Danny,
Sherry Perdue, One grandson, Brandan Edward
Gray, all of Dixie, one step-grandson, Jeremy Gray of Adonijah, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dorthalee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Billy Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
