Douglas Laird Dempsey 68 of Montgomery, died June 23, 2013. He was born May 26, 1945 in Montgomery and was the son of the late Elliott and Marjorie Ohlinger Dempsey. He is also preceded in death by is daughter Rosalie Michelle Dempsey.

Surviving: Daughter Ashley Chaney of Charleston; Sister Kathryn Griffith and husband Randall of Gallatin, TN; brothers Jack Dempsey and wife Judy of Morgantown and John Dempsey of Charleston; grandchildren Joshua, Isaiah, Damian, Bailey and Mackenzie; several nieces and nephews

Service will be 7:00 PM Wednesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with Rev. Randy Black officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior the service.
