Drema Annette Bass age 51 of Statesville, NC formerly of West Virginia passed away on March 26th of 2010 due to complications of surgery. The world has lost a truly remarkable woman, Annette was a friend to all who came in contact with her. She was born on September 1, 1958 and is the daughter of Drema Gaye Stewart Byrd of Statesville and the late William Russell Ferrell. She was a caretaker for the sick.
She is survived by a loving husband Bruce Bass; her daughter and son Nicki Whitlock of Ansted Wv and David Manley of Statesville. Annette was also survived by four wonderful grandchildren, Elizabeth Paige Manley, James Mitchell Whitlock, David Jonathon Manley, and Alivia Nichole Whitlock. Her mother Drema Gaye Byrd of Statesville, her three brothers Wesley, Jeff and William also of Statesville.
Those who knew Annette knew what an amazing woman she truly was.
Services will be held in at 2:00 OM Tuesday at O’Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery with Rev. Greg Frances officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.
