Obituary for Earlina Gaye Hall Jackson

Earlina Gaye Hall Jackson Earlina was born at Oak Hill Hospital on September 4, 1945 and was originally from Kingston, Fayette Co., WV.
Earlina, 64, of Morris Drive, Montgomery went to sleep in Jesus Christ on November 12, 2009 after a very long illness.
She was preceded in death by parents, Earl W. Hall and Evelyn V. Powers Hall. Also by her grandparents, several cousins, uncles, and a nephew whom she loved.
She was a housewife, worked at WV Tech, and several restaurants in Montgomery.
She loved working with the girls at Rainbow Floral and helping others.
She was born into The Church of Jesus Christ at Morris Drive on November 26, 1986 and is waiting for her call. She loved her church family.
Earlina is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Charles W. Jackson Jr., loving children, John Earl Jackson and wife Toni, daughter, Marsha Lynn Petry and husband Greg, son William R. “Bobby” Jackson and wife Michelle, and son, Charles Michael “Mike” Jackson and wife Chris, all of Montgomery. Sister, Joyce Nugent and husband Joe of Fayetteville, NC. Best friend and adopted mom, Katie “Jenny” Newkirk of Morris Drive. Grandchildren, Christopher and Ethan, Ashley and Brooke, Aaron, Carey, Chad and Craig. Great-grandchildren, Tyler and Hayden. She was also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and her church family whom she loved.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ, Morris Drive with Pastor Frank Brown, Brother Steve Bennette and Brother Greg Petry officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM Sunday at the church. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com.
