Obituary for Eric Gregory Perez
Eric Perez, age 37, entered heaven’s embrace on February 4th, 2024. He is survived by his fiancée, Shauna, who he had the pleasure of spending 17 years of his life with; children, Eriana and Eric Jr.; sisters Emily and Jessica; brothers Tommy, Arthur, and Jacob; and a large circle of family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Eric was a devoted and proud family man, a resilient and skilled worker, one of the best cooks around, and a faithful believer in God. He lived life with a contagious joy and a goofy sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone around him. His warm smile and light-hearted nature made him a beloved presence in the lives of those he touched.
Whether spending time with his family, sharing jokes with friends, cooking some of his famous Cuban food for his loved ones, or lending a helping hand or shoulder to cry on, Eric’s kindness and generosity left lasting impressions on the hearts of everyone that knew him. Though he is no longer with us on earth, Eric’s legacy of love, laughter, family bonds, and faith will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.
If you would like to pay your respects, a visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18th from 12-1pm at O’Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, WV followed by a celebration of life service starting at 2pm at Glen Ferris Apostolic Church in Glenn Ferris, WV.
