Obituary for Ervin Russell Woodrum II
Ervin Russell Woodrum, II, age 70 of Comfort died October 11, 2021. He was born in Montgomery on March 15, 1951 to the late Ervin Russell Woodrum and Wanda Cox Woodrum of Holly Grove. He was also predeceased by his wives, Deborah Calhoun Woodrum, Shirley Payne, and sister Jacqueline Woodrum.
He was retired from Long Branch Energy in Boone County and a member of the Evening Light Christian Church.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his son Russell Gene and wife Wendi of Willow Spring, NC, stepson Chris Jarrell of Troutman, NC., grandchild Geramii Woodrum, sisters; Yvonne Bosley of Chesapeake, and Tammy Hackworth of Holly Grove.
Service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 1PM at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Matthew Hackworth officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be held from 12PM until time of service at the funeral home on Thursday.
