Eugene S. “Gino” Brandon age 79 of Montgomery died May 23, 2009. He was born April 1, 1930 in Boomer and was the son of the late James and Mattie Pendleton Brandon. He was also preceded in death by his sister Mamie Brandon.
He was retired from D & D Ford in Smithers and was a veteran of the US Marine Corps in Korea. He was a graduate of Simmons High School. He was a member of Longacre First Baptist Church and loved WVU and WVU Tech football.
Surviving are nieces, Janet Grimes of Detroit, Jacqueline Brandon, Deborah Taylor and Brenda Brandon of Charleston, Anita Phifer of Dunbar; nephews Arthur Brandon of San Marcos, CA and Sgt. Delbert Brandon of Fayetteville, NC and many great nieces and nephews.
Service will be Saturday May 30, at 1:00 pm at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with the Rev. William Kinney officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
