Flora M. Holliday age 89 of Mount Hope formerly of Powellton died January 13, 2012 at Clarks Christian Care of East Bank. She was born March 12, 1922 in Clay County and was the daughter of the late Talmage and Ida Cane Tucker.
Surviving: son Raymond McElroy and his wife Rose of Kimberly; nieces she raised Rochella Eyler of Powhaton, VA and Irene Pittman of Lavernia, TX; granddaughters Teresa Johnson of West Columbia, WV and Debra Lopetrone of Dixie; great-grandchildren Kristin and Cody Johnson and Ethan and Emmie Lopetrone; several nieces and nephews; sisters Helen Kiser of Nitro and Bertha Lowe of Boomer.
The family would like to thank the staff of Clark Christian Care of East Bank for taking care of our mother during her illness and also thanks to Hospice Care of Charleston.
Service will be 1:00 PM Monday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
