Florence Elizabeth Dickinson, age 81, of Oak Hill, died Monday April 6, 2009. She was born on February 8, 1928 in Dickinson, WV and was the daughter of the late Ernest C. and Ursla M. Clendenin Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Ray Dickinson and sisters Virginia Stanley and Vivian Slivensky.
Surviving are sons, Ernest Ray Dickinson and his wife Wanda of Oak Hill, Charles “Chuck” Dickinson and his wife Linda of Smithers and Frankie Dickinson and his wife Patty of Tampa, FL; sisters, Sophia J. Dillon and Dosha A. White and Niece Brenda L. Akers; six grandchildren, Bridgett Chandler, Willie Dickinson, Tammy R. Usnak, Treasa Dickinson, Stephanie Neal and Stephen Dickinson and 13 great-grandchildren.
Service will be Friday April 10th at 1:00 pm at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with the Rev. Bill Smith, Officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Thursday at the funeral home.
