Obituary for Fred Ernest Burleson Sr.

Fred Ernest Burleson, Sr., of Boomer died February 9, 2022. He was born on April 30, 1930, to the late Charles and Winnie King Burleson. Along with his parents, he was by preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Mae West, and son, Ernie Burleson, Jr.

He was a member of the Marmet Community Church in Marmet and was a retired Electrician from the coal mines and I member of the UMWA.

He is survived by his children, Regina L. West of Bentree, Reva Jenkins of Boomer, brother, Paul Burleson of South Carolina, grandchildren include, Lori, Carrie, Angie, Ernie, and several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Service will held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 7PM O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Stanley Konkle officiating. Entombment will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens ay Glasgow Friends may visit from 6PM until time of service at the funeral home.
