Gary Thompson Pack age 70 of Marmet died December 31, 2011 at home. He was born August 20, 1941 at Winifred and was the son of the late Lee and Nadine Cooper Pack Sr. He was also preceded in death by his son Gary Alan Pack and seven brothers and sisters.
Gary was a former Safety Director at Madison Mines and a former Federal Mine Inspector but his true passion was carpentry and painting. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
Surviving: wife Roalee Pettry Pack; sister Wanda Dawson; brother Bernard Pack and his wife Patty; children sons Adam Pack and his wife Stacy, Jeff Pack and his wife Amanda and Robin Pack and his wife Christy; daughters Rebecca Hoylman and her husband Rod and Angela Cottrell and her husband Jason; grandchildren Camron Slater, Preston Pack, Ethan Pack, Brayden Pack, Chase Wentz, Kaden Cottrell, Nicole Kirk, Alan Enicks, Billie Jean Bostic, Zachary Bostic, Grant Hoylman, Brandon Pack and Shaina Pack; great –grandchildren Kaley and Loralei; step children Harold Pack, Shane Pack and Rosetta Cooper and her husband Billy and five step-grandchildren.
Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2011 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Daniel Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London with military honors.
