Obituary for Gladys May Roode
Gladys May Roode was born February 6th 1964. She left this mortal world on 4-14-2024 in the the comforts of her home..
She is proceeded in death by her two sons.. Belmer Drennon Dunaway and Micheal Dunaway. Parents Williiam Drennon Dunaway and Daisy Pearl Jackson Dunaway. Her sister Zelda Dunaway and baby bother Matthew Dunaway.
She is survived by Sisters Melinda Phillips, Lisa Dunaway, Rebecca. and brother Bill Dunaway
She is also survived by a longtime companion and friend Isaac Curtis Neal.
With many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces , Great Nephews....and friends.
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we lay her to rest.
Gladys: We pray that not only did you see the face of God and his Son Jesus Christ,, but that your beloved sons came to see you home. That the reunion could not only be felt but heard throughout Heaven. We could only imagine the joy that filled your heart and soul. Hug our Momma , Daddy. Zelda and Matt. Till we see you again Gladdy May,"Toukie". You will be sorely missed and loved by us all.
Service will be at O’Dell Funeral home in Montgomery WV on Friday April 19th from 5-6pm. Family , friends or ANYONE who wishes to pay their respects and say goodbye is welcome to come.
