Gloria Jean Lowery 58 of Shrewsbury, dies September 3, 2013. She was born September 30, 1954 in Ward and was the daughter of the late Maynard Landis and Billie Dove Simms Eikler. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Paul, James and Richard Eikler and a sister Sharon Sizemore.

Surviving, husband, Edward J. Lowery; daughters, Deanna Lowery of Shrewsbury and Jeannie Lude of South Charleston; grandchildren Sierra Lowery, Brinna Lude and Joseph Lude; sisters, Brenda Sizemore of Cedar Grove and Linda Culp of Elkhart, IN; close friends Jody Dawson, Roger Burrows, Kayla Atkins, Ethan Bradley, Samantha Fleet.

Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev, David Samms officiating. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery, Ward. Friends may call from 1 hour prior the service.
