Howell Belcher age 79 of Powellton went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2016. He was born October 15, 1937 at Hansford and was the son of the late Dana and Mabel Sullivan Belcher.

He was owner of Belcher's Auto Care in Powellton and he was a member of the Glen Ferris Apostolic Church.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he loved the Lord.

Surviving: wife Wilma Belcher; son Doug Belcher and wife Karen of Robson; granddaughter April Weese and her husband Rodney Jr. of Gauley Bridge and Angela Waycaster of SC ; great-grandchildren Trinity, Aleacea, Logan, Sydney and Jayden; brothers Danny Belcher and his wife Donna of Ohio and Larry Belcher of Powellton; sisters Joan Dorsey and her husband Gene of North Carolina and Judy Sigmon and husband Kenneth of Powellton and a host of friends and neighbors

Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at the Glen Ferris Apostolic Church with Pastor Sal Bria, Rev. David Bounds and Rev. Joe Darlington officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday at the church.
