Ida Maglone Thompson age 96 of Venice, Florida formerly of Pratt and Montgomery died October 13, 2013. She was born Sept. 10, 1917 in Livingston and was the daughter of the late Sheffie Jones and Nellie Neterage Lambert. She was proceeded in death by her husband Edward Earl Thompson, 5 sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Thompson moved to Oldsmar, Florida in 1966 where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She loved dolls and amassed a large doll collection while in Oldsmar.

She is survived by one sister Ella Jones of Inverness, Florida and one son Ira A. " Lonnie" Thompson and his wife Barbara of Venice Florida, 3 grandchildren Diane, Karen and Janet and 6 great-grand children Rachel, Ryan, Michael, Jacob, Tyler and Anissa.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Montgomery Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel at London with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the mausoleum.
