Condolence: I'm going to miss my MawMaw Jean so much. While she was actually my great grandmother, she knew how to make me feel special, despite her 20+ other great grandchildren. She was an absolute sweetheart with a spitfire attitude. Everybody knew Mawmaw from her trademark as a phenomenal cook. My favorite thing she ever made was pineapple upside down cake. And every time she was expecting a visit from me, there was a pineapple upside down cake on the kitchen table. Ever since I was a little girl I told her that I wanted her to make that cake for my wedding. And she promised that she would if she got the chance to. Mawmaw, I know you would for me if you were going to be here to watch me get married someday. Mawmaw, you're quite the character. Our personalities went together so well. She could have me crying with laughter one minute and I could do the same to her the next. Anybody that had the privilege to know her would agree that she was an all-around amazing woman. I love her to death, and I'll cherish the memories with her forever. I love you Mawmaw. I know you're resting easy and well. When I see you again some day, I would appreciate a slice of pineapple upside down cake, a kiss on the cheek, and one of your great stories! I love you!

Condolence: Maw Maw Jean,

What can I say? You will be missed by so many. I know the pain they feel because I share the thoughts and memories. The stuff you told me I always kept to myself. Now I feel compelled to share them with others. The one is why you did not choose to attend church and didn't care for religious figures. The reasonings were sad, but I am glad you realized God is the answer to everything and chose to be baptised in moms living room by John Prichard. That means so much to me. I told them about Willie too. LOL! I remember you telling me you loved Boxcar Willie but everyone was getting it confused with Willie Nelson. You said not to say anything and I never did until now. We were at your house beside DuPont High School at the time. These are memories I cherish because they came from you to me. Miss you & Love you!!
