Jeanette Joyce “Sissy” Lovejoy age 51 of Elkridge, WV was born September 27, 1960 and she went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2012 after a long illness of battling cancer. She was the daughter of Nellie Marie Taylor and J.D. “Wimpy” Taylor.
She was a member of the Open Door Community Church and the Armstrong Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving is her husband of 33 years Jerry Lovejoy; children Jacqueline ”Jackie” Sizemore and her husband Richard of Elkridge, Jerry “Whoppy” Lovejoy and his wife Amanda of Ocala, Fl, Mandi Nickoson and her husband James “Eddie” of Belva, Angela “Angie” Lovejoy of Elkridge, Shawn Lovejoy of Elkridge and Samantha “Sam” Lovejoy and her companion Todd Hypes of Elkridge; grandchildren Jake, Kara, Austin, Trevor, Allison, Mason, Hayden, Ashton and Michael Hypes; parents Nellie Marie Taylor and J.D. “Whimpy” Tylor; brothers Rick Taylor and his wife Cissy, Jerry Taylor, Jack Taylor and his wife Judy, Jimbo Taylor, Jeff Taylor and his wife Venus, John Taylor, Joe Taylor and his wife Margie, Jamie Taylor and his companion Renee Estep, J. D. Taylor and his wife Melissa; several special nieces and nephews; special sisters-in-laws Vickie Taylor and Connie Hudnall.
Service will be 1:30 PM Sunday at Open Door Community Church at Powellton with Rev. Greg Frances officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.
