Obituary for Jeanette C. DiVita (Stamper)

JEANETTE C . STAMPER DIVITA
On June 11, 2014, Jeanette DiVita flew away to the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ. She is at peace.
Jeanette was born on January 24, 1958, in Charleston, WV to Catherine Bekastro Stamper of Cary, NC and the late Homer Stamper of Montgomery. WV. She loved her sons, extended family and friends. She loved them in good times and in bad times She helped care for her elderly parents and she then fed the hungry.
Jeanette was predeceased by her father. She leaves behind her mother, sister, Brenda S Wiggins, and her brother-in-law, Geoffrey £ Wiggins of Cary, NC; her brother, Larry) Stamper, and her sister-in-law, Paula J Stamper, of Glen Dale, WV; son, S Branden DiVita of Cary, NC; son. F Chase DiVita and her daughter-in-law, Kanica Hodges of Florence, KY; son, Benjamin S DiVita and her daughter-in-law, Abigail DiVita of Duck, WV. She also leaves behind her former husband, Francis DiVIta and the following grandchildren: Isiah, Rylee, Desmond, Chayse Ann, Benjamin and Layla. She was also expecting twin granddaughters in mid July. Jeanette had three sister-In-laws: Beverly Skinner of Cary; Cheryl Belcher of Charleston, SC; and Jane Sonnett of Marietta, GA. Jeanette also had many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. She was especially close to Erin, Geoffrey, iT and Kelly. She also leaves behind her dear friend, Lucy Roberts and family.
During her lifetime Jeanette enjoyed caring for her cats, cheerleading, cooking, decorating and hair styling.
Jeanette's wake will be held at O'Dell Funeral Home located at 1301 Fayette Pike W Montgomery, WV on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A prayer vigil will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Friends may also call on Saturday, June 21", from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 708 First Avenue in Montgomery, WV. The rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am. Father Mark Gallipeau will offer the Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 noon followed by burial in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. A mercy dinner will be held at the Church directly following the interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
