Jessie Elizabeth Truman 93 of Powellton left her earthly home on the wings of an angel September 12, 2013. She was born November 2, 1919 in Smithers and was the daughter of the late Richard Hansford and Hester Goff Cox. She was also preceded in death by her husband Archie Truman in 1990 and grandsons Eric Kock, Phillip Bowen, and Baby DeCuba; great granddaughter Marlena Ulisa Saulog; sons-in-law Bill Arnold and Rick Perdue.

Surviving, children Deanna Arnold of KY, Sharon Kock and husband Frank of FL, Sonja DeCuba and husband Hank of FL, Archie Lynn Arthur and husband Terry of Boomer, James Truman and wife Lorie of Powellton, Beverly Bowen and husband Randy of Powellton, Tina Navarro of Powellton, Debra Perdue of Powellton, Garry Truman and wife Margie of Powellton, Jerry Truman and wife Linda of Cannelton; sisters Josefa Marsico, Voilet Kiser, and Betty Hicks; 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren with one on the way, and 1 great great grandchild.

Service will be 1p.m. Monday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with grandson James Truman Jr. and Rev.Terrance Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
